Product Description:

The course will provide an introduction to assistive technology devices and strategies available for children with disabilities/special health care needs. It will present a review of technology available commercially and through custom design, including effective, but "low-end" devices. The course will also preent funding options and laws to support the acquisition of assistive technology in various situations. Finally, methods for teaching individuals to use assistive technology fluently will be provided.
