Children use their bodies to learn motor skills. They use past experiences with new actions. memory is important to learn new skills because children recall what they did to make corrections. Practice is important in learning new motor skills. Through play, children can practice fine motor, gross motor, self-help, and perceptual motor skills. They change and improve their motor skills by information we give them. Children have different levels of abilities, and all motor skills should be given on several developmental levels. Play equipment should accommodate both typical and atypical children.
