As inclusive post-secondary education programs become available, there is a need to share successful practices to support students with an intellectual disability. This reflection paper provides an overview of the evidence-based practices implemented to support the self-advocate with Prader-Willi Syndrome and 1st year college student. The mentor discusses what she implemented and reflects on the outcomes. The mentee reflects on the relationship and the supports helped her through the program.
