Vermonters with different types of disabilities have different attitudes about disability

Negative attitudes can be barriers to equity and inclusion. We polled 632 Vermonters to learn how much they agreed with statements about school inclusion, employment, and quality of life. Most agreed that students with and without disabilities benefit when students with disabilities are included in school. Most agree people with disabilities contribute equally to the work force. And most disagreed people with disabilities have the same quality of life.
