Product Description:

Definition of Autism Spectrum Disorder, prevalence, risk factors, etiology, challenges of dx during early ages and atypical vs. typical socio-emotional development. The need for an assessment process, the specialists authorized to do the dx, the criteria established by the DSM-5 and the social communication disorders (sensory issues) that cause atypical sensory responses are discussed for the purposes of the dx and establish goals and strategies to help the child/student to succeed.
