Updated in August 2022 - Maines Quality Rating & Improvement System (QRIS) called Rising Stars for ME, includes specific program indicators that define & promote quality in early care & education & Out-of-School Time (OST) settings across seven standards. The focus is on program improvement & ensuring access to quality early care & education settings for all children. It was developed as one of the QRIS recommendations to improve staff confidence & competence in implementing inclusive practices.
