Product Description:

This document is a rating scale based on our compilation of the best practices used in the Beyond Access model and project. These include: High Expectations and Least Dangerous Assumption; General Education Class Membership and Full Participation; Quality Augmentative and Alternative Communication; Curriculum, Instruction, and Supports; Ongoing Authentic Assessment; Family-School Partnerships; Team Collaboration; Special and General Education Reform; and Professional Development. Within each best practice category, a list of specific indicators offers observable measures of the best practice. These can be rated on a likert scale of 1-5.
