In 2004 and 2005 the Real Choice Systems Change Project facilitated a series of eight regional forums and one statewide conference on community inclusion. At the forums, one of the major barriers to community inclusion identified by participants was how people with disabilities are portrayed in the media. This fact sheet was designed to educate the general public about this topic.
