Product Description:

Part of a six-part training series for youth workers and community coalitions dedicated to nurturing positive assets for all youth. Working with youth from diverse cultures has often been thought about as a problem to be solved or a challenge to be overcome. Taking an asset approach leads us to view cultural diversity as an asset, rather than as a problem or a challenge. This curriculum is designed to encourage youth workers to value diversity as an important asset for youth development, to protect youth from the consequences of discrimination and harassment, and to empower youth as leaders for social justice.
