Product Description:

Concerned about the length of the DVD training by this same name (2 hrs), the Los Angeles Police Department Training Unit requested and was granted permission to convert the DVD to a 45-minute on-line training. The on-line version focused on a brief introduction to why IWDDs are at higher risk for victimization but focused primarily on part 2--tactics for interviewing victims with intellectual disabilities, cerebral palsy, AT users, and autism. The on-line version is a required training for all LAPD officers and detectives. At the current time, this version is only available to LAPD although they are working to remove the firewall so other police departments can take the on-line version of the training.
