The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities program, known locally as MIND, recently provided a 2-day autism training session for community physicians. The Screening Tools and Referral Training-Evaluation and Diagnosis (START-ED) program is designed to increase pediatricians? abilities to identify significant developmental concerns associated with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) in very young children.
