Product Description:

Two primary educational reforms of this decade emphasize the need for higher academic standards for all students, and zero tolerance policies to make schools safe learning environments for all students. These reforms potentially signal trouble for students with disabilities. This Policy Research Brief explores these educational reforms and the ways in which they may challenge youth at high risk for school failure, and identifies strategies for policy implementation that can help high-risk students to remain in school and meet these higher standards.
