This evidence based project can be used to help local lawmakers make better decisions as it pertains to mental health and insurance laws, which will eventually help to eliminate barriers in mental health insurance coverage. The data can be used to assist families by providing them with useful information pertaining to mental health insurance coverage. Families can use this project as a resource when comparing various insurance companies for benefits they offer for mental illness compared to physical illness.
