Product Description:

Part of a six-part training series for youth workers and community coalitions dedicated to nurturing positive assets for all youth. Assets for youth are positive opportunities that help them to develop into healthy, caring, and contributing adults. Assets include positive adult and peer supports as well as opportunities for youth to express their opinions, challenge adult assumptions, and learn and use new skills. This training is based on 40 developmental assets, identified by Search Institute, that help young people make wise decisions and choose positive paths. The asset framework is a viable and easily adaptable tool for everyone involved in youth work.
