Product Description:

A DVD produced from a presentation by the same name conducted by Chris Heimerl, MSW. Chris has worked in a variety of Human Service capacities for many 30 years. He is most interested in how individuals "in the gap" are safely and effectively supported to live in community settings. He draws from a person-centered, positive approaches philosophy. The workshop was designed for staff working with persons with concurrent developmental disabilities and mental health or other behavioral complications. A framework for organizing those efforts, practical tools, and basic skill and capacity building is emphasized.
