Product Description:

Diffusion Tensor Imaging is a new method for visualizing and quantifying white matter tracts in the brain. Children born preterm are at risk for injuries to the white matter. In this talk, we showed that language and reading outcomes in children born preterm are highly associated with properties of their white matter. These results thus point to a possible cause of adverse outcomes in children born preterm.
