This is a session of a web-based course designed to enhance practice of early interventionists in the field by providing the current evidence base and recommended practice of early intervention, aligned with the competency-based practicum component of the project. This session outlined components of a new paradigm of early intervention focusing on competence, empowerment, strengths, resources, and family-centeredness.
