Product Description:

The original RIOT is a newsletter written by and for self-advocates with disabilities. The newsletter includes information on many different topics that are important to self-advocates. The purpose of the CDS RIOT is to help direct support professionals (DSPs) to think about their work from the viewpoint of the people supported. The CDS version of the RIOT is based on a full issue of the original RIOT on Silly Rules. However, it's presented with some extra content to make your learning more complete. Our goal is to help you to connect the information from the articles to your daily work as a DSP. The CDS RIOT is not like a regular CDS course. It is a new way to learn. This issue of the CDS RIOT will get you thinking about silly rules and how to stamp them out for good! It's not all work though!
