This report updates the status of graduation policies nationwide and examines statesâ€™ perspectives on the intended and unintended consequences of various graduation policies. Results in the report show continued diversity of graduation requirements and diploma options and that a range of diploma options continue to be available to students with and without disabilities in most states. The report also makes recommendations to help guide state and local district decision making when adopting state graduation requirements and alternative diploma options.
