The purpose of this study was to examine differences in the production of narrative macrostructure and microstructure elements produced by 3-, 4-, and 5- year old monolingual Spanish-speaking (SS) preschool children using The Index of Narrative Complexity (INC), and to examine whether the INC accurately identified monolingual SS children with language impairment.
