Health disparities at the intersection of race and disability
Product Description:
People with disabilities who also belong to other marginalized populations, such as historically underserved racial and ethnic groups, often experience increased disparities. This presentation used Medical Expenditure Panel Survey data from 2002-2008 to examine health status and access to care among adults aged 18-64. People of color with disabilities were compared to people of color without disabilities, white people with disabilities, and whites without disabilities.
