Product Description:

Finding Our Voice is a video that highlights four American Indian youth participating in transition activities to prepare them for life after high school. Four youth who participated in transition skill-building activities through the Institute's Expanding the Circle programs are filmed in different environments-home, school, community centers' demonstrating how they utilize the transition skills they learned. Students discuss the positive life changes they have experienced from their participation in these programs, such as higher expectations for themselves, a stronger connection to their community, and a sense of pride in their American Indian heritage. A Resource Manual, provided on disc, accompanies the DVD complete with discussion questions, lesson plans and activities.
