This "Policy Research Brief" is the third in a series reviewing U.S. studies that have measured behavioral outcomes associated with the movement of people with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities from institutions to community residential living. This review is cumulative and includes the studies contained in the earlier reviews (Larson & Lakin, 1989; Kim, Larson, & Lakin, 2001).
