Product Description:
A curriculum designed to guide American Indian high school students (grades 9-12) in exploring entrepreneurship as a viable vocation. Based on the content of summer programs for transition-age students held at Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College (FDLTCC) in Minnesota, the curriculum is grounded in the National Content Standards for Entrepreneurship Education (NCSEE) developed by the Consortium for Entrepreneurship Education. It can be implemented as a summer program, or its activities can become components of other courses and programs such as basic business and money management courses, transition programs, and career advising programs. Its 61 lessons are organized into three modules - Module 1: Entrepreneurial Skills, Module 2: Ready Skills, and Module 3: Business Functions. Developed by Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College and the Institute on Community Integration.
