Fiscal Year:
2013
Contact Information:
Product Description:
The Related Services Assistant (RSA) model has trained over 200 teachers across the Pacific to support the needs of children with low-incidence disabilities, including deaf-blindness since 1994. The multiple cultures in the region require diverse approaches. The lack of funds, knowledge and training necessitate the innovative use of locally available materials to construct assistive devices to support academic, positioning, and functional skills.
