The purpose of the One Stop Service Center Initiative was to identify best practices for providing high quality, accessible services to job seekers with disabilities through the One Stop Service Center system. This article provides an overview of the Workforce Investment Act and One Stop system and presents a current review of the system in terms of serving individuals with disabilities. A summary of best practices is provided and strategies are recommended for improving access and service delivery within One Stops to ensure that they are prepared to best serve job seekers with disabilities.
