Product Description:

A report providing analyses on the participation and performance of English language learners (ELLs) in the U.S. for 1999-2000. Standards-based reform in education has had a far-reaching impact for many students, including ELLs. One aspect of monitoring the extent to which school efforts are successful is the public reporting of all students' participation in and performance on state assessments, including the disaggregation of ELL data. Data must be available in state reports as well as in those available locally. Published by the Institute's National Center on Educational Outcomes (NCEO).
