The purpose of this seminar is to illustrate the centrality of the family in the life of the child with special needs and, subsequently, evidence-based early childhood intervention work, from a lifespan perspective. This seminar relies on outside readings, discussions, interactive web-based content and completion of performance-based competencies where concepts are interpreted and applied to early intervention work.
