Product Description:

This White Paper is a position statement initially developed by Dr. Harrington and Rosemary Melarkey from SRC. It identifies national trends on integrated employment, Nevada's history on inclusive employment, and makes recommendations for legislative changes to increase the competitive employment of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The paper is being reworked by a group of approximately 15 persons (i.e., the Employment First ad hoc Committee), including persons with disabilities. The paper will go to the Nevada 2015 Legislature.
