Product Description:

Effective community mental health practitioners who value diversity must continually improve their ability to understand, work with, and accommodate individuals with mental health conditions from many different cultural backgrounds. This course provides an introduction to the concept of cultural competence, discusses the importance of cultural competence in the delivery of mental health services and supports, and helps the learner to develop the attitudes, knowledge, and skills needed to work in a culturally competent manner.
