Meghan Breheney

2019-2020 Emerging Leaders Interns


Meghan Breheney is excited to be one of the 2019-2020 AUCD Emerging Leaders Interns. Meghan is currently completing her third year of a Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Fellowship at the Children's Evaluation and Rehabilitation Center at The Children's Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, NY. She is a LEND Fellow and Maternal Child Health Bureau long-term trainee. Meghan received her Medical Degree from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in 2014 and completed a residency in General Pediatrics at Mount Sinai Hospital in 2016.

On a day-to-day basis, Meghan provides developmental evaluations and ongoing family center care to children with developmental disabilities in the Bronx. In addition, Meghan's current research focuses on the early identification of developmental delays in children with severe and chronic medical conditions. She also oversees and teaches pediatric residents and medical students who rotate through the center. In her free time, Meghan enjoys running in Central Park, hiking in upstate New York, and trying as many of New York City's Restaurants as possible.
