Maternal and Child Health Engagement
Andrew R. Bordeaux, MS, CCC-SLP, is a Program Manager for MCH Engagement at AUCD. In this role, he provides technical assistance to interdisciplinary training programs and research centers within the AUCD network, including Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) Programs, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics (DBP) Programs, and University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD).
Andrew holds an MS in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Medicine and a B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. At UWM, he completed specialized training in public health through the MCH PASS initiative, followed by two years of LEND training: the first year through the Carolina Institute for Developmental Disabilities at UNC, and a second year while completing his clinical fellowship at the Waisman Center, University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining AUCD, Andrew provided services as a speech-language pathologist and consultant across administrative, medical, entrepreneurial, and education-based roles. He is excited to contribute to the leadership development of others and collaborate on initiatives that advance practices and policies for people with developmental and other disabilities.
