Statement from NACDD, AUCD and NDRN on HHS

NACDD, AUCD, and NDRN are collaborating on a joint statement in response to the recently leaked HHS budget.

We recognize and deeply value the ongoing collaboration taking place at the state level among DD Councils, UCEDDs, LENDS, IDDRCs, and P&As. Our message to our networks is this: Unity is more critical now than ever. Speaking with one voice in this moment not only strengthens our response—it ensures that, together, we rise above efforts to divide and conquer.

Our national DD Act organizations, individually and collectively, stand ready to support and amplify the vital work being led by our members across the country.
