Gary Mears is a staff member of the Center for Disabilities Studies (CDS) at the University of Delaware. He is presently a research associate with the Emergency Preparedness for Individuals with Disabilities (EPID) initiative, a grant funded by the Administration on Developmental Disabilities. He also coordinates the collection of CDS data that is provided to the Association of University Centers on Disabilities (AUCD). Gary earned an Ed.D. from Temple University, received training in health services research as a postdoctoral fellow at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and is a graduate of the Partners in Policymaking program in Delaware. Before coming to CDS, he worked on a variety of health science-related projects, including projects with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
