Product Description:
The roles of speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists are very different in inclusive schools. Instead of focusing on remediating students deficits, they shift their attention to the supports that students need in the areas of language and communication, movement, and sensory equilibrium. Using the same examples of inclusive lessons presented in the previous webinar (Translating the Vision for Inclusive Education into the Classroom) this webinar will illustrate how SLPs and OTs can come in to the classroom and provide supports not only to the student with the IEP, but to all students.
