Product Description:

Presentation entitled, "Improving Oral Health Care for People with Disabilities" presented at 2017 Missouri Oral Health Policy Conference & Oral Health Legislative Awareness Event in Jefferson City, MO. The high rates of poor oral health in I/DD population and lack of training for dental professionals on I/DD health were highlighted, along with an overview of the Oral Health Collaborative project which intends to develop a professional oral health curriculum related to I/DD; provide oral health care training for service providers, family caregivers, and individuals with I/DD; and form a local oral health collaborative.
