Learn about the latest in Assistive Technology for remembering and aging all from the comfort of your home or office. Discover how you can immediately implement new techniques to assist your clients or loved ones. As we get older, we all benefit from assistive technology solutions. However individuals who experience a disability frequently benefit from a more coordinated plan of assistive technology services and supports. This session will discuss and demonstrate assistive technology solutions to enable individuals who experience various disabilities to age in place. This includes the use of voice assistants; virtual participation; remote monitoring; devices for getting up into and out of; lifting, holding, and carrying solutions for arthritis; magnification and sound amplification solutions; solutions to reduce slips and falls; reminder devices and strategies; and back saving solutions.
