Product Description:

This packet describes a process of progress monitoring a set of techniques for assessing child performance on a regular and frequent basis. Progress monitoring information is used to report individual child progress on LEP goals, a legal requirement of IDEA, and more importantly to drive effective instruction. In this packet, the Assessment, Evaluation, and Programming System (AEPS) tool was used to illustrate one example of how an effective progress monitoring system could be implemented in a preschool classroom setting. The use of the AEPS, for illustrative purposes in this packet, does not constitute an endorsement of this tool over any of the other state identified CBA measures.
