Integrating the CDC's Learn the Signs. Act Early. campaign in MCH Programs in Indiana, Virginia, and Wisconsin to Improve Early Identification of Developmental Delays and Disabilities
Product Description:
Too many children with autism and other developmental disabilities miss the opportunity for early intervention because their disability is entified too late. CDCs Learn the Signs. Act Early. program is working to change this, in part through its collaborative Act Early initiative, a joint effort of CDC, MCHB, AUCD, and AMCHP to promote collaboration among state‐level early childhood programs in improving screening, diagnosis, and referral. Presenters will report on the work of Act Early Ambassadors in Indiana, Wisconsin, and Virginia. This session reports on promising practices that can be applied to other MCH programs.
