Product Description:

In February 2013 the Kansas State Board of Education approved new regulations for the use of emergency safety interventions (ESI). The regulations officially went into effect on April 19, 2013 and apply to any learning environment, including any nonprofit institutional day or residential schools and any accredited nonpublic school that receives public funding or over which the Kansas State Department of Education (KSDE) has regulatory authority. The regulations define interventions, commonly referred to as seclusion and restraint that should only be used in emergency situations.
