Sandy Root-Elledge is currently serving as a Senior Lecturer at the Wyoming Institute for Disabilities (WIND) at the University of Wyoming, having been the interim director and executive director from 2014 through 2023. She was also the prior director of UW ECHO, Wyoming Assistive Technology Resources, the states Assistive Technology Act Program, and the Wyoming Family-to-Family Health Information Center. As the parent of two children with developmental disabilities, she brings this important perspective to her work. She holds an M.A. and B.S. in Sociology from the University of Wyoming.
