Kellie Ellerbusch serves as the Training Director for the Nebraska LEND program, as the grant program specialist for the Nebraska University Center on Disabilities at Munroe-Meyer Institute, and as the state coordinator for People First of Nebraska. She holds a Bachelor of Liberal Arts from the University of Missouri - Kansas City, and certificates in Humanics (Non-Profit Administration) and Disability Studies. She is also a former Licensed Practical Nurse, specializing in long-term pediatric care for children with special health care needs and/or developmental disabilities.
Prior to her position at MMI, Ms. Ellerbusch was the Research Associate to the Director of the Institute for Human Development, (Missouri UCEDD) at UMKC.
Ms. Ellerbusch's area of expertise include grant writing, program logic model development and evaluation, competency-based education for adult learners, and as an ally supporting self-advocates.
