Rhonda Eppelsheimer, MSW, is serving as the co- Director of the University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disability (UCEDD) at the Institute on Development & Disability. Eppelsheimer is credentialed as a licensed clinical social worker focusing on adolescent transition, mental health and strengthening supports and systems for families who are raising children who experience disability.
Eppelsheimer oversees programs, activities and data coordination for the UCEDD grant working in collaboration with other State agencies and other UCEDD organizations across the country to improve the lives of individuals with disabilities or special health needs.
Research:
Self-determination and independence for transition age youth with disabilities including developing healthy relationships, sexuality and planning for healthcare across the lifespan.
